Nice review. I toyed with the idea of buying a 340 instead of the 330i. I would definitely like the power, however, I'm putting about 25K miles a year on my current BMW for my work commute. Seemed criminal to buy the 340 or M3 and then rack up mileage on it. So far I've been happy with the 330i.First 3 years is covered, but that’s pretty much oil and filter changes. They’re not really unreliable, just costly to fix. If you can find a good mechanic, you can save a lot. Major costs usually come after 5 yrs and 60,000 miles.
