New Vegas. I could while modding Fo4 using a tool called Multixwm to convert MP3's to .xwm, renaming them to a Fo4 song file name and replacing the original, but on a quick look at the files inside the radio folders tells me they aren't .xwm's in this game. They seem to be MP3's, and there are two of each, with the second having "mono" added to
Well for Fallout 3 and New Vegas. The soundtracks are literally in the game files. I think that Fallout 4 is setup like 3 and New Vegas as well, but I'm not sure. I don't play a lot of Fallout 4 As an example: E:\steamapps\common\Fallout 3 goty\Data\Music The first Fallout and Fallout 2 tracks are stored as .ACM files in a location like this.
If you have JIP NVSE Plugin installed. Create a new ini and call it FalloutCustom. Copy the Tweaks and Paste it in FalloutCustom. Helpful Tip. If you notice from time to time more Stutter or bad Perfomance Problems. Open Console and write this PCB. By JIP NVSE Plugin installed it will not disable Archivments. 1. Start a new mod Fire up the GECK and click on File/Data. Make sure Fallout.esm and only Fallout.esm is selected, then hit OK. Once everything is loaded, go to File\Save and save your mod under whatever name you'd like. SAVE OFTEN! The GECK is fairly unstable, and nothing sucks harder than losing thirty minutes of work to a crash.
The fallout games don't take place in the 50s, and never have. The reason F3 and new Vegas have 50s music is because Bethesda are legit idiots, and didn't understand what black isle went for. They thought that, truly, it's the 50s. Everything is the 50s, even the music!
If you enjoy this mod, please endorse! It only takes a second, and it helps others weed through the junk and find which mods are worth getting. Summary: This mod adds 200+ random ambient noises to fallout's existing list. You'll hear dogs barking, far off gunbattles, mosquitos spinning around your head, owls hooting, etc. mHkFco. 51 21 325 231 43 251 373 119 43
